_{[ B Okay, no, this sudden bout of depression is getting her hungry. At around lunchtime, you'll find Taiwan standing in front of the Malt Shop. Oh, it's closed... She wanted to stuff herself silly with sweets, but it looks like that's not happening. She'll just stare at the front door. ]}

I wanted the ice cream with the sparkles on it...

_{[ C Taiwan knows she'll get droned if she doesn't return in three days, but maybe that's for the best. She'll be kicking your mailbox, throwing rocks at your windows, drawing Hello Kitty on your property... I mean, ruining your Christmas. It's not much worse staying at home, but at least she'll be out of everyone's lives here in Mayfield if she leaves for good.

If anyone tries to confront her or call her out on it, she'll try to run away.

If anyone she's made friends with catches her eye, she'll run, too, but faster, and go great lengths just to hide from them. ]

What kind of person would leave someone looking so lonely by themselves like that, out in the winter cold no less? I left the stove on because this was supposed to be a quick errand, and we wouldn't want it to overcook. Shall we get going, miss Taiwan? [She takes a small step forward.]

Ciel is being so kind, it's almost surreal. But isn't she usually like　this? Taiwan doesn't want to be a burden to anyone else anymore, yet there was the offer of food.

Plus, her stomach made a sound just now.

Her necessities were her priorities. Even if it will make her feel worse, Taiwan nods and reluctantly goes with the older woman. ]}

[Well... Nothing else needs to be added. It didn't take a genius to figure out that this is Mayfield's idea of Christmas. Looks like she'll need to check up on anyone else that she knew too, but until then, there's a nation to feed and cheer up.]

This way, let's not dawdle.

[She won't say any more and the rest of the trip will be made in silence. Ciel'll always be walking a bit behind Taiwan, in a way not too different from a sister or aunt watching and chaperoning over their younger charge. It may not do much, but to know that someone else is there - maybe that'll be able to calm Taiwan down just a little.]

_{[ Ciel's presence gives Taiwan both security and anxiety. She discreetly looks over her shoulder ever so often to check if Ciel is there. What if it was all a trick? Never mind that it didn't make much sense for her to do that. She had to make sure.

When they arrive, Taiwan stops to look at the house Ciel resided at. ]}

It's the third time I've been here.

[She's not leaving. Taiwan isn't the first that she ran into that's been behaving strangely today, and while she can't establish a reason for all these strange behaviors, she's not about to leave it be if anything can be done.

What put her on damage control? Who knows, but does it matter? If she can help it, then she'll do it, and better still if it works out.

She goes to get the door, and turns around chuckling lightly at Taiwan's mention.]

Haha, because of Merem, right? Sheesh, that boy is nothing but trouble, but I really do appreciate your eagerness to help. It's a nice sentiment, but misplaced because he's the one that tricked you. Our house set aside, were your sales successful?
