Doctor? Doctor... Ciel. _{[ The exhaustion in her voice is from staying up all night watching out for Chizuko and herself. She feels weak. That's from the possession. No, she doesn't want to close her eyes. ]} Doctor, Ciel, anyone, please. _{[ Breathes in, pushes her bangs up and keeps her voice from cracking. ]} Please? Anyone who knows where Japan and Vietnam are _{[ Vietnam, because she doesn't want anyone asking her who jiejie is - no time. ]} if they're still alive... No, they're definitely alive. They're alive! So you gotta tell me where they are. You gotta tell me how to get rid of - I.

_{[ There's silence long enough to make one believe that she's already hung up. Then, a more cheerful, teasing voice speaks. ]}






Ah, you people take too long to answer! Well, I guess it doesn't matter anymore. It's okay now. Problem solved! Yaaaay.

_{[ ooc: An angel burst from Taiwan's mind. All replies will be by Angel!Taiwan - that is, an angel using Taiwan's voice. ]}

You don't sound well... hang on, I'll be right there, okay?

[And the phone clicks. Minutes later, there's the sound of all manner of ruckus out on the front lawn as a berserk Hachibe shatters angel faces with his perverted fists of fury. He dashes through the front lawn, deftly avoiding Chizuko's traps with alarming speed before literally busting down the front door to the house.]

Taiwan? Taiwan! It's Hachibe! Where are you?

[naicha]

<sub>[ First, he'll find the receiver on the floor, in the living room. Then, he'll find her on the floor as well.

She's stopped breathing. ]</sub>

[Hachibe freezes as he catches sight of Taiwan's collapsed form lying there on the ground. His breath hitches in the back of his throat for a moment, and then gives way to desperate gasping for air as he remembers how to breathe again.]

Taiwan! Damn it!

[He rushes over to her unconscious body, lifting her from the floor and cradling her in his arms. Perhaps out of instinct, he presses his ear to her chest, desperate to hear a heartbeat.

...Nothing.]

No! I can't be too late! Don't die on me!

[Lying her back down on the floor, he starts trying to perform CPR to bring her back.]

C'mon! Get up already!

[After he's more or less worn himself out doing this, he picks her lifeless body up and stands.]

...I couldn't save you in time, but I'm at least going to be here for you when you wake up again tomorrow. I don't care how many of those damn things I have to fight!

[And he'll start heading upstairs to the bedroom, cradling her head close to his chest protectively.]

[Hachibe lays Taiwan gently down on the bed, pulling a sheet over her before standing vigil at the edge of the bed. Of course, his eyes were focused away from the corner for that time before he turns back around...]

[But then the rage boils up inside of him, overtaking the momentary feeling of fear. Hachibe clenches his fists and yells right in the angel's impassive stone face.]

It was you, wasn't it? Were you the one that killed Taiwan?

[Hachibe growls as he brings his fist to bear against the angel's face. Taiwan may be dead, but he's still protecting her body until she wakes up tomorrow, so that's more than enough for him to be able to unleash his full strength against this thing.]

((OOC: He's pretty strong when he's like this, but I'll leave it to you to decide whether or not he can smash through stone.))
