...I think I'll assume this time that Hong Kong is the one with the blog, not the dog, to avoid an intellectual fog.

But after all, there's nothing conceptually wrong with the idea of dog meat; it's no better or worse than other animals, I imagine. Nutritionally, I doubt it has been studied extensively, but perhaps I'm incorrect. It is a strange pathology, this inordinate affection for members of one particular species...

Oh, so... Sasaki, you're not a dog person? What about cats? Do you like cats?

I don't have any reason to like any particular kind of animal, though I suppose a well-trained cat can be useful in terms of pest control. Spiders, too, and they don't need to be trained; of course, if you count them as pests themselves, it is rather pointless.

There are a few animals that have shown signs of intelligence, though. Gorillas and dolphins in particular; it seems likely to me that dolphins may have a form of society, even, one that is incomprehensible to us at the moment.

Dolphins are just mysterious sometimes! The pink ones are very cute, but they don't like me a lot even if I try to protect them and stuff. _{[ no you're not trying hard enough... ]} But you know, they like Hong Kong even if he is mean and rude. It's weird!

...A penetrating analysis, to be sure, Taiwan. Perhaps you've unintentionally offended them. Perhaps his meanness and rudeness is more in keeping with their societal norms than your particular brand of -- moe.

I suppose you have fairly close relations with Hong Kong, then, having been in somewhat similar situations, politically speaking.
