_{[ Someone's practicing her swings at the ball park again. Without Yamamoto around, it's been pretty lonely. But that! Is okay! Because pitching machines exist. Taiwan's a little out of it, though. Which is strange. Have a baseball flying at you right... now. ]}

_{[ At the library, she's putting those books on making clothes to good use. On her sketchbook, she is drawing costumes and coloring them in while quietly humming pop songs, and maybe anime themes, yes... You might recognize some of them. ]}

_{[ Returning to her house at 1245 Williams Road from... shenanigans, Taiwan gets to work in the kitchen to test the waters, so to speak. If she wants to open up a restaurant, the food has to be quality. What's that smell? Someone got a little too excited with making tonight's dinner. Seriously, this meal is fit for five kings! ... Four kings now, she supposes, without Chizuko around. Taiwan sets the last of her dishes down and gives herself an applause. ]}

Oh no, I guess it's too early... Well, at least I'm done! Hehehe. _{[ Not that early. Feel free to follow the smell of chicken, pork and egg drop soup wafting out of the window. ]}

Um, no... _{[ sounds sad... ]} But that's why I'm asking, you know! Something said that I have to make a contract to get some, but I think the one I'm supposed to make one with is gone. So I want to know if there are other ways to get magic! _{[ Yeah, no, Merlin, she was just tricked by Kyuubey... ]}

Er, I haven't heard of anyone being able to get magic - in my world, it's just something you're born with. But a some people don't discover they have magic until they're older, so maybe you're one of them! [assuming Taiwan is a teenage girl/young woman here...]

What's a Sidhe? Are they good guys?

The fairy folk. Er...I don't know if they're all bad guys, but all the ones I've ever met tried to trick or kill people, so I can't really say they're good. But there probably are some out there that are nice who I just haven't seen yet!

England...oh, that's Albion's other name, right? I know him! He's a little...odd sometimes, but I like him - it'd be kind of sad if I didn't, haha. Are you one of his people too?

And what do you mean? I've never had any trouble seeing faeries, although I guess it might be something that only magic-users can see.

I dunno! I don't have magic - um, yet - so I've never really seen them. England's the only country I know who can. Teacher says he can see dragons too, but I think that's just him being silly. _{[ laughs!! ]}

Why's that silly? I guess there's only one left now, but he's pretty bloody enormous and you definitely don't need magic to be able to see him.

Really? Promise? _{[ She is skeptical at first, but this is Mayfield, and who wouldn't want to see a dragon?. ]} Wah! I want to see him, too!

Oh, my name is Taiwan! My place is an island, too, like England. _{[ she bothers pointing that out because gee she's never heard of Albion before so she thinks this guy must be from the time England was like... super young, you know! ehehe. ]} What's your name?

Yeah, he's...definitely noticeable. And I don't know if you would, he can be really annoying sometimes. Always going on about destiny and never giving a straight answer.

[that's okay, Merlin doesn't know any country names really...] I'm Merlin! Nice to meet you, Taiwan. I don't think I've ever heard of you, but that's not really unusual...it looks like a lot of people here are from pretty far into the future than I am.

About dragons, they're supposed to be like that, I guess. All wise and cryptic and stuff. But you should keep him around, you know! He'll bring you lots of good luck.

I hope so! I've been here for a few months and a lot of things are still pretty strange to me.

I suppose...he's saved my life a couple of times and he does offer really good advice, but he also tried to burn down our castle once, so I don't really know if I could call that luck.
