<sub>[ Good morning, Taiwan! It's Valentine's Day. You have to wake up real early so you can get all the chocolate before the other girls do. That's the whole point of this holiday, isn't it?

Taiwan's wide awake - she's all dressed up, too! Oh, you thought she didn't have a date this year? Well, there's a certain someone she wants to give chocolates to... But before that, she makes a trip to the mailbox to check if she's received anything important. You may not know this, but she's pretty popular, you know! Or so she likes to think. But today, she doesn't find any greeting cards, flowers or love letters - only an envelope similar to the one that arrived last month. Strange. She wonders what it is this time. Picking it out of the mailbox, she opens the envelope - wait. Wait. Something's missing. Oh, right. Background music. ]

[ She opens the envelope... and all these memories start coming back. Her, and Hong Kong. They've always been together for as long as they can remember, but circumstances would always be the one to pull them away and break them apart. Not wanting to let go as everyone tells them to, they decide meet in secret. Hiding from China, being by Hong Kong's side despite everything - she'd grow to love it all.




WHOA WHOA WAIT HOLD THE PHONE. Does that mean she's been hanging out with him all this time and he knew, but didn't say a thing about it? That's horrible. She's horrible! What's worse is if he found out she forgot - oh, and she made all this chocolate with Ciel for Japan -

The chocolate. Oh. Oh no. Oh no, if he finds out, it'll break his heart. And we all know that Hong Kong is a big, fat woobie. She dashes back up to her room and takes the box of Hello Kitty-shaped chocolates in her hands. If she changes the tag, he won't notice, right? "Here are your chocolates, Happy Valentine's Day! By the way, I'm sorry I forgot all about our secret relationship, but I remember it now, so please forgive me, okay?" Like hell that'll work! W-well maybe, maybe if she leaves out that last bit, she'll be alright. She has to see him! But she can't let anyone else find out... ]

[ phone call; filtered to Hong Kong ]

[ in a hushed tone ]</sub> Wei, Hong Kong! Hong Kong! Can you come over? I don't wanna wake everyone else up. _{[ about to end it there, but then she adds, ]} Oh, and don't let teacher see you, okay? Bye bye. _{[ HANGS UP before he can say anything else because god if she heard his voice right now that'd be embarrassing ]}

...And I made you these. [shuffles over to the porch where he'd left a box before all the chaos started :| good thing too because they'd have been squished.

smells the roses when he turns around heeee and when she follows him to where the cakes are, her face lights up even more. wah did he really make 'em for her? ;u; ]</sub>

_{[ Taiwan thinks they've stayed here for too long, though. ]}

Aah, Japan and Chizuko should be awake by now - let's get out of here! _{[ First, she takes his hand. Then, with his hand, she takes the ribbon holding the box on the porch. Lastly, she pulls him and her cake along with her, running to wherever they can spend a nice Valentine's Day together yaaaay Hong Kong can't complain about how fast she runs. ]}

[well, running this fast is kind of annoying- he hasn't had a complete personality transplant after all- but he's also just thinking how cute it is that she's so eager and stuff... oh god he's ill.

but he's noticed something as they run along]

...Hey, is it just me, or are like, lots of the drones staring at us and stuff? [and they don't exactly look pleased for the two of them...]

_{[ She's still happy as ever! They can't be staring at them because they're together, right? ]}

They look kinda ticked off. Or grossed out or something.

Why? How come? ... We're not doing anything wrong, are we? _{[ steps closer and squeezes his hand tighter in return. A couple of drone shake their heads in disgust. ]}

But-! _{[ she sounds like she's about to throw another tantrum, but she slows down, lets go of his hand and goes ahead a few steps before she stops, her back still facing Hong Kong ]} ... but it's like no one wants to leave me alone.

Why? It's always like this. Only when they give our memories back that they try to take something precious away from us again. This... _{[ she lifts her arm for a second and drops it to her side ]} I know it's wrong. It's wrong!

_{[ her palm covers her eye as she tilts her head back a bit. she's not crying, but she's frustrated. ]}

But is it also wrong to be happy?

_{[ oh... can't be sad on Valentine's day. puts on her best smile when she turns around ]}
